Continued up the Coast of New Jersey today out on the Atlantic Ocean. Had some periods of rain and it stayed mostly cloudy all day. It was nice puttering along in the rain, though I lost sight of land for a while during a particularly heavy period.

I didn't go far today, though a little farther than I expected. From not having to navigate through islands and channels, it's been a straight shot by and large. I decided to get in the water and wash off some of the muck that has been building up on the sides after I set anchor tonight. Tried this citrus product and it worked very well. Quite a few fish were interested in the process and a few took some nips on my legs. The ocean is still a bit on the chilly side, but it was invigorating and I enjoyed the heck out of that. Salt water just heals so much.

I did catch a few more that I filleted up and put in the freezer for when Kate gets on board. She's a healthy eater and loves fish and veggies. So I may make my way inland tomorrow or Friday to see if I can find a farmers market to stock up on the provisions in that style. I found one up at Avon by the Sea and that's about where I will be on Friday morning so I'll just run in and see what they have. She's bringing her power shakes that she's been drinking since she was about 12. She's going to bring me some because I've been out for some time now. We'll figure out where to get some shipped so that we have them on the way. When she's around, I always eat healthier just by osmosis.

It's a movie while I fish tonight. I had bought a small 17" smart TV that can stream movies from my server and I can move just about anywhere. So on to the deck tonight where I may sleep just because it's just that kind of night. I also need to do some uploading and backups when I get to the marina in New York. I've gotten a little behind in that regard.

It's a night of counting blessings and I pray all in my love nest spend some time in grateful reflection of all that God has done for them.
