The idea to head out into the ocean has turned out to be an incredible experience. Really wished I had the mast on so that I could have practiced some sailing. Being a novice and all, it was perfect weather to take it easy on this old fool. I've decided that I am just going to anchor out in the ocean and motor my way up the coast here. I'm going to do a little fishing as I go and see what hops on the line. So far a couple of good size groupers have managed to make it into my freezer.

I'm parked off of the Atlantic City coast and I watched the sun go down behind and as the lights came on, it was just a spectacular view. I can hear some of the noise, and there seems to be a lot of activity even for a Tuesday.

Katie is all set to come into La Guardia on Saturday and I am going to try to find anchorage as I get closer. My plan is to spend one night in a marina to get all gassed up and supplies all replenished before the trek up the Hudson River. I am really excited. It looks like Liz is going to meet me in Chicago and head down on the Southern legs for a while. It looks like all of her courses in college will be online and she figures she can get it all done as we head on down. We'll snipe of some WIFI as we motor down, and if worse comes to worse, we can set up a hotspot to get her assignments delivered. I can't wait to see my babies.

To all who dwell so deeply in my heart, may Daddy God protect and keep you.
