Our sister facility, the Granary, is located on the north shore of the Sassafras River. The Granary provides deep water drafts, ample electricity, a wide turn radius and 300 foot tee-head space. No wonder it is the choice of larger vessel owners and crew! Free Wi-Fi internet access, laundry, heads/showers, pool privileges and more are all available to Granary Marina customers.

Shallowbag Bay Marina (SBM) is a 75-slip marina located just off the intercoastal waterway in North Carolina's wonderful Outer Banks. The Outer Banks recreational area is one of the fastest growing coastal areas in the United States. The Outer Banks is characterized by barrier islands, natural beaches, sand dunes and beautiful marsh land areas. The marina currently has 25' – 60' slips available.

Hatteras Harbor is a well protected, full-service marina with a 20 boat charter fleet as well as deep water transient slips to accommodate boats up to 60ft. Slips offer 30, 50 and 100 amp electrical service and water. Shower facilities and a laundromat are located on the premises as are diesel fuel and oil disposal.

For the angler, we offer on-site fish cleaning, storage, and shipping services. While your fish are being prepared, you can stop in the Marina Store to make taxidermy arrangements for mounting your fish or complete the forms necessary to receive a citation from the NC Saltwater Fishing Program.

When you arrive here at Casper's Marina you will be greeted with Southern Hospitality.

Our transient dockage rate is $1.25 a foot with a charge of $3.00 for 30 Amp and $5.00 for 50 amp. Included in this price is cable, water and wireless internet service.   The bathhouse was rebuilt in 1997. It offers one male head, one female head and one large shower. There is also a pay phone just off the dock. As you may or may not know, we are one block from "Downtown" Swansboro with its quaint shops and restaurants. Arrangements to local grocery and ABC stores can easily be arranged upon request. We do not have a courtesy car. We encourage reservations, either by phone or e-mail. We also monitor VHF channel 16. We are located directly on the ICW at channel marker 46-C and mile marker 229. We look forward to your stay!

Dockage

Dock facilities includes 176 wet slips and 55 over –water lift slip with plans for 200 additional wet and lift slips in the future.  St. Johns offers annual, bi-annual, quarterly (lift slips only) and daily slip rentals for the boats up to 130’ in length.  Both our transient and long term slip rental rates are extremely competitive with other Charleston marinas in spite of our superior facilities and amenities.

It’s a great beach for beginners, or those who simply enjoy a peaceful practice session. Matheson Hammock Park is a lovely scenic park with an unusual feature–a man-made atoll pool, which is flushed naturally with the tidal action of nearby Biscayne Bay. Its tranquil breeze-swept beach is a haven for families who enjoy its warm, safe waters and beautiful waterside views. Matheson is also a prime spot for Kite-Boarding. Its active breezes and calm shallow waters make launching easy.

Dinner Key originally served as base of operations for Pan American Airway’s famed flying boats, the Clippers, and plenty of history has been retained in the area. The original Pan Am terminal building (next door to Dinner Key Marina) now serves as Miami City Hall, although it has retained its historic charm.
